He’s so much fun to work with and so good at what he does. Extremely professional, reasonably priced and we got endless photos from the best day of our lives. I can’t recommend him enough!Posted on cass manriquezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional, friendly, and made the whole process easy. The photos came out beautiful! You can tell there was real care and attention put into every detail. we are honestly so happy with how everything turned but it’s one of those experiences that makes you appreciate how powerful a great photograph can be.Posted on Susy GuzmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was referred to Adam by a close friend, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Adam is an incredibly talented photographer who captured every perfect angle and moment of our engagement and wedding photo shoots. Even though it was our first time doing a photo shoot, Adam made everything feel effortless and comfortable, and we had lots of fun throughout both shoots. He guided us smoothly through the entire process, making it enjoyable and easy. Adam delivered the photos very quickly, and when my husband and I looked through them, we absolutely loved every single picture. The quality is phenomenal, with stunning panoramic shots and amazing drone photos that were a wonderful surprise. We had such a great time, and I would absolutely recommend Adam to anyone looking for a photographer. I’m definitely planning to hire him again for future shoots!Posted on LillieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Adam was a referral from a friend I already trusted. No regrets. He did amazing. We hired him for my sisters birthday shoot and we did a beach picnic shoot. It came out amazing. We’d definitely hire him againPosted on Brad StreicherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We cannot recommend Adam enough!!! He was by far one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding (and engagement shoot). He captured the day perfectly and was so easy to work with. We always felt comfortable around him, he gave great direction (but made it natural), and overall was a joy to spend time with. He even included small details we never thought of, like printing polaroids during the cocktail hour to have waiting for us at dinner, or using a new drone he bought to get an aerial view of the ceremony. 12/10 experience. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, stop your search and lock in Adam!!!Posted on samantha marschTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an amazing time using Adam as our wedding photographer. He is extremely professional, friendly and has such an eye for making photos look natural and timeless. We couldn’t be happier with the way our photos turned out. The hardest part will be deciding which ones to print! Mikailin took our photos on our special day and did an incredible job making us feel comfortable, and made the whole experience fun. She had a vision and passion for photography that couldn’t go unnoticed. Thank you SO much Adam and Mikailin for capturing our day so perfectly and giving us these memories forever.Posted on Vivien LiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Adam is amazing!! He came and shot for our bachelorette party last minute and did a great job. His turnaround time was IMPECCABLE. Super clear communication all the way through and he was so helpful in posing us too. The photos turned out great. Would def recommend Adam for any type of wedding related events if you want a trustworthy, reliable, and talented photographer!Posted on Bethany ReevesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. With over 15 years photographing sessions throughout San Diego County, I’ve developed an intimate understanding of what makes each San Diego location special. From the dramatic cliffs of La Jolla to the Victorian elegance of Coronado, from the cultural heart of Balboa Park to the urban sophistication of downtown, I know how to capture the unique character of your chosen venue.
San Diego offers unparalleled diversity for wedding photography. In a single day, you can capture dramatic ocean cliffs, Spanish Colonial architecture, pristine beaches, and urban sophistication. After photographing hundreds of San Diego weddings, I still discover new perspectives and locations that make each celebration unique.
Being SoCal-based means I know the fastest routes between venues, the best backup locations for weather contingencies, and have established relationships with San Diego’s top wedding planners and vendors. This local knowledge ensures your wedding day timeline flows smoothly and we never miss golden hour.
“Working with couples throughout San Diego has taught me that every wedding is deeply personal. Whether you’re having an intimate beach elopement at Sunset Cliffs or a grand celebration at the Hotel del Coronado, my goal is always the same: capture your story authentically, guide you confidently, and deliver photos you’ll treasure for generations.”

With hundreds of photography sessions under my belt, here’s what I’ve learned about selecting the best locations for stunning photographs
Focus on 1-2 locations rather than rushing between multiple spots. More time at each location means better photos, relaxed energy, and perfect lighting without the stress of constant travel.
Popular tourist spots can be challenging with crowds and onlookers. Private or less-trafficked locations help you feel more comfortable and give us cleaner backgrounds without waiting for crowds to clear.
The best engagement and portrait photos focus on your connection, not elaborate settings. Clean, simple backgrounds let your emotions and interactions take center stage, creating timeless images.
Some public venues restrict photography equipment. Choose locations without permit hassles or lighting restrictions so I can use all my tools, including off-camera flash for artistic effects and flattering light.
From dramatic coastal cliffs to historic gardens, here are my favorite San Diego locations for wedding portraits, engagement sessions, and celebrations, complete with insider tips for each spot
My most requested location featuring dramatic sandstone cliffs, breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, and stunning sunset backdrops. This 68-acre natural park stretches 1.5 miles along Point Loma’s western shoreline, offering iconic coastal scenery and unique photo opportunities at every turn.
Golden hour (1 hour before sunset) for the most dramatic lighting. Winter months offer clearer skies and better tide pool access.

Planning your San Diego wedding celebration? Here are my favorite local spots for rehearsal dinners, accommodations, and activities
Yes! I’ve photographed weddings throughout San Diego County over the past decade. From luxury resorts like the Fairmont Grand Del Mar and Hotel del Coronado to historic venues like The Prado at Balboa Park, from beachfront ceremonies in La Jolla to urban celebrations downtown, I have extensive experience across San Diego. My venue familiarity helps ensure perfect timing, optimal positioning for lighting, and knowledge of each location’s hidden gem photo spots.
Three key advantages set me apart: First, I’m an experienced San Diego photographer with deep venue and location knowledge across the county. Second, I’ve established relationships with premier San Diego wedding vendors and venues throughout the region. Third, my guided documentary style captures authentic emotions while providing professional direction, so you get candid storytelling with polished, flattering portraits. You’ll feel comfortable, look natural, and receive stunning photos.
I serve all San Diego County areas with no travel fees, from coastal cities like La Jolla, Coronado, Del Mar, and Carlsbad to inland communities like Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido, and Julian. As a local San Diego photographer, I know the best routes, timing considerations, and optimal photo locations throughout the county. All San Diego packages include complimentary travel within the county.
I recommend booking 9-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May through October) and popular Saturday dates. San Diego venues book quickly, and the best photographers have limited availability. That said, I occasionally have openings for closer dates, so it’s always worth reaching out. Early booking also allows time for engagement sessions and wedding day timeline consultation.
Absolutely! After 10+ years photographing San Diego weddings, I’ve built strong relationships with the area’s best wedding professionals, planners, florists, caterers, DJs, videographers, hair and makeup artists, and venues throughout San Diego County. I’m happy to provide recommendations that align with your style, budget, and vision. These vendor relationships also ensure seamless coordination on your wedding day.
Yes! While I’m based in Laguna Beach, I frequently photograph weddings throughout the region including Orange County, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Temecula wine country. I love destination weddings and the opportunity to capture different venues and landscapes. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, but I’m always excited to photograph beautiful weddings throughout Southern California.
Having photographed hundreds of San Diego weddings, I’ve handled every weather scenario. While San Diego is known for beautiful weather, I always scout backup locations and have contingency plans, from utilizing covered areas at your venue to finding beautiful indoor lighting opportunities. Some of my favorite images have been captured in unexpected weather! Rain can create romantic, moody photos with umbrellas as elegant props. San Diego’s typically mild climate means severe weather is rare.
I deliver your complete online gallery within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date, significantly faster than the industry standard of 8-12 weeks. You’ll receive a mix of color and black-and-white images, all professionally edited.
